Composer Emily Doolittle was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in1972, and educated at Dalhousie University, Indiana University, the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague, Holland and Princeton, USA.
Since 2003, she has lived in Montreal, Quebec, where in addition to composing, she has been exploring the relationship between bird and other animal songs and human music and learning to play traditional Quebec fiddle. |
